These Terms of Use apply to your access to and use of Get2FA.dev. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
1. Purpose of the service
Get2FA.dev provides a browser-based utility that generates standard time-based one-time passwords from compatible Base32 secrets. It also provides educational content about two-factor authentication and account security.
2. Authorized use only
You may use the tool only with accounts, systems, and secrets that you own or are expressly authorized to access. You must not use the website to gain unauthorized access, evade security controls, facilitate fraud, interfere with the service, or violate applicable law.
3. Your responsibility for credentials
You are responsible for protecting every secret, code, password, and recovery method you use. Verify the website address and your device security before entering sensitive data. Do not use the contact form to transmit credentials.
For important accounts, keep secure backups and consider using a reputable offline authenticator or hardware security key. Get2FA.dev is not a credential backup or account-recovery service.
4. Accuracy and compatibility
Generated codes depend on a valid secret, compatible TOTP settings, and an accurately synchronized device clock. You are responsible for verifying compatibility and results before relying on the tool.
5. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time. We do not promise that the service will always be available, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device or third-party service.
6. No affiliation
References to authenticator apps, standards, products, or third-party services are descriptive. Unless expressly stated, Get2FA.dev is not endorsed by or affiliated with the providers of services where you use a generated code.
7. Intellectual property
The website design, original text, branding, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not misrepresent the service, remove ownership notices, or reproduce substantial parts of the website in violation of those rights.
8. Disclaimer
The website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Educational content is general information and is not professional security, legal, or compliance advice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Get2FA.dev and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of access, credentials, data, revenue, or opportunity arising from use of or inability to use the website.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from the effective date shown on this page.
11. Contact
